Hajipur: Armed criminals gunned down Pankaj Kumar, an employee of a finance company, in Rambhadra locality under Town police station, Hajipur, in Vaishali district, on Saturday morning. Agitated over the incident, the locals blocked the main road at Gandhi Chowk demanding immediate arrest of the killers. On getting information, the local police reached the spot and sent the body to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for autopsy.The cops were engaged in pacifying the people till the filing of the report. Police sources said that previous enmity is stated to be the reason behind the murder. The cops are camping at Gandhi Chowk.
