Muzaffarpur: Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar has ordered for the arrest of the then Block Education Officer (BEO), Meenapur, and the then Block Development Officer (BDO), Meenapur, in connection with appointment of over one hundred teachers a few years back allegedly on the basis that they had cleared Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). The SSP has also ordered for attachment of their property. Meenapur police on November 4 quizzed District Education officer (DEO), Muzaffarpur, Satyendra Narain Kanth for two hours in this connection. Kanth told police that he had joined the post only recently and the appointments were made before he was posted in the district. The SSP has also ordered for the arrest of alleged mastermind of the racket Subodh, a resident of Daud Chhapra.
