Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor State Universities Fagu Chauhan on August 10, 2019, gave VC, Patna University, Prof Ras Bihari Sinha, additional charge of VC, Nalanda Open University (NOU), Patna. The Governor authorised Prof Sinha to function as VC, NOU, as well with immediate effect. The Governor’s Secretariat issued a notification in this connection on August 10 itself. The post of VC, NOU, Patna, was lying vacant ever since the resignation of Prof Ravindra Kumar Sinha.
