Motihari :  Mohammad Mobin  55, a money lender and property dealer, was  stabbed to death by some unidentified persons at his ancestral house in Nakchhedtola locality in Motihari town in East Champaran District in North Bihar on October 29, 2019, night. Md  Mobin was living at his house with two children of  his brother as his wife had left his house after Talaq.

On October 30 morning, the residents of locality  found  the door of Mobin’s house open with his body lying on the floor in a pool of blood. SHO, Town police station, Motihari, Abhay  Kumar, after  spot inspection, sent the body to Sadar hospital for post-mortem. He  inquired   about the incident with the locals. According to police, Md Mobin was a property dealer and money lender. Police recovered  some bottles of wine and non-veg food from the room where he was killed. Some frequent
visitors to Mobin’s house had come to his room on October 29, 2019, night and they returned in the wee hours on October 30,
police said.

Police suspect that some persons who had borrowed money from him but did not want to return the amount to him could be involved in this  cold blooded murder. Police have registered a case  in this connection and investigation is on.
