Patna : Sri Lanka (SL) were all out for just 117 runs in 19 overs in 2nd T20I against Australia at The Gabba, Brisbane, Australia, on October 30, 2019, with Kusal Perea (wk) scoring 27 in 19 balls hitting 2 fours and a six and opener Dhanushka Gunathilaka scoring 21 in 22 balls with 2 fours and a six.

SL had opted to bat after winning the toss but Australia fast bowlers and spinners ran through their batting lineup. Pat Cummins , Billy Stanlake, Adam Zampa, and Ashton Agar took two wickets each while two batsmen were run out.

SL lost their first wicket at 5 with opener Kusal Mendis getting run out for 1. They lost their second wicket at 29 when Gunathilaka fell to Stanlake. Avishka Fernando fell to Agar for 17 making it 53/3. Niroshan Dickwella fell to Cummins for 5 making it 65/4. Kusal Perera fell to Agar for 27 and it was 75/5.

Dashun Shanaka fell to Stanlake for 1 and it 76/6. Wanindu Hasaranga fell to Zampa for 10 making it 83/7. Usuru Udana fell to Cummins for 10 and it was 95/8. Captain Lashith Malinga fell to Zampa for 9 making it 108/9.  Lakshan Sandakan was run out for 10. SL could not play their quota of 20 overs.
