Prohibition & Excise Deptt. seizes IMFL worth Rs 1.5 cr from Muzaffarpur village

Muzaffarpur : Prohibition and Excise Department sleuths seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth more than Rs 1.5 crore from village Chakmaheshi under Maniyari police station in Muzaffarpur district on September 15, 2018.

Excise Superintendent, Muzaffarpur, Deenbandhu, said that the liquor mafia involved in smuggling of liquor would be arrested at the earliest. He said that liquor worth about Rs 2 crore had been seized so far in the district in September 2018 while six persons were sent to jail. Deenbandhu said that Prohibition & Excise Department sleuths and Police were conducting raids daily to check smuggling of liquor.
