Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities Fagu Chauhan on September 26, 2019, appointed Professor Rajendra Prasad as the new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Magadh University (MU), Bodh Gaya, for three years with effect from the date he assumes charge of the post.
The Governor appointed Prof Prasad as the VC, Magadh University, in the light of panel recommended by the Search Committeee and effective consultation with the State Government. The Governor’s Secretariat issued a notification to this effect on September 26, 2019.
