Patna : Governor cum Chancellor Ram Nath Kovind on June 14, 2017, appointed Professor Ashok Kumar Jha, LNMU, Darbhanga, as the Pro Vice- chancellor of (ProVC) of J P University (JPU), Chhapra. He is a teacher of Chemistry. Prof Jha’s tenure will start from the day he assumes charge of his new assignment.
The governor had on May 6, 2017, appointed Prof Ravi Pratap Singh as the Pro VC of the JPU, Chhapra. But, Prof Singh had refused to assume charge of the post necessitating fresh appointment.
