Bokaro: To promote women empowerment and help exclusive women entrepreneurs besides trying to put Bokaro on national canvas in the field of exhibition, Bokaro women entrepreneurs are presenting exclusive items of seven states of the country including West Bengal, Odhisa, Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh , Bihar and Jharkhand besides that of Malaysia and Indonesia at the two- day ‘Sawan Bazar’ organized at Bokaro steel city beginning July 31. The fair has been organized at Hans Regency hotel and will conclude on August 1.
There will be more than three dozen stalls and the exhibition to be inaugurated by Bokaro Mahila Samiti president Manjula Maitra o Sunday. Giving this information on Saturday at a prèss conference, president and chairperson of Bokaro women entrepreneur Preetasha Tripathy and Bhawna Gupta said that besides ethnic and western women apparels, traditional and contemporary jewellery, home decor items, imported furniture from middle east designer countries, designer Rakhis, several varieties of Tupperware, children items, games , Churis, Lahthis , handicrafts (made by local women), local food delicacies and other things will also be exhibited at the fair.
Bhavna Gupta informed that they will be organizing ‘Sawan Bazar’ every year during monsoon (month of Sawan) and as this is the first year they will invite women entrepreneurs from across Jharkhand to participate from next year hoping that the fair will be big success.
