Ara: The Office Bearers of the Lions Club Patna Virangana were installed at installation Cum Charter Ceremony of the club at Hotel Gargee Grand on Saturday. Chairman, Bihar legislative council, Awdhesh Narayan Singh, inaugurated the function chaired by BJP MLA from Digha Sanjeev Chaurasia. All women team members, who will lead the club in 2016-17, took oath on the ocasion.
The team is headed by its President Lion Amrita Bhushan, Secretary Lion Nupur Prasad and Treasurer Lion Kanchan nath. Lions Club of Patna Veerangana with the women team Sumita Sahi, Nilofar Hassan, Aishwarya Sharma, Nisha Singh, Arunlata Sharma, Sarita Kedia , Puja, Nutan, Shilpi , Sachi, Priti and Reshma promised to serve society with the work allotted to them by the President. The club has decided to start shelter home for women.
Bihar legislative council chairman Singh, in his address, appreciated the efforts of Lions Clubs organization and its members for their sustainable efforts to help the society as true volunteers. He advised the club members to take up different service activities for the under privilege section of the society in a massive way.
