Saharsa : Police arrested Headmaster of government Primary School, Sahuri, under Salkhua Circle in Saharsa district, Uday Kumar Yadav on April 18, 2017, for alleged embezzlement of Rs 11 lakh of state education department. He was arrested by incharge of Chiraiya police camp Rajiv Lal Pandit from village Sahuri. The then Block Education Officer (BEO) Nityanand Thakur had lodged an FIR with Salkhua police station in this connection in 2016. The school is located in Kosi riverine area.
