Pregnant woman dies in Rohtas accident, hubby injured

Sasaram : A pregnant woman was killed while her husband was injured when a speeding motorcycle dashed their motorcycle from behind at Malia Bagicha at village Sahuaad under Kargahar police station in Rohtas district on April 12, 2019. Police brought the body over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there.

SHO, Kargahar police station, Rakesh Kumar Singh said that Birendra Ram of Indaur village under Kargahar police station had gone to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for the treatment of his pregnant wife Kiran Devi on his motorcycle. While returning, a speeding motorcycle dashed his motorcycle from behind killing Kiran Devi on the spot and injuring Birendra Ram near Malia Bagicha at village Sahuad. The SHO said that the first wife of Birendra Ram had died during pregnancy while the second wife died in road accident when she was pregnant.
