Power workers demand immediate arrest of Dhanabd BJP MLA

Bokaro ( Jharkhand) :  Thousands of Jharkhand Electricity Board employee have given time till 5 pm on June 8 to Dhanbad district administration to arrest Dhanbad BJP MLA Raj Sinha for allegedly slapping the General Manager, Dhanbad electricity board, Subhash Singh, failing which they will proceed on an indefinite strike.

However, the district president of BJP Schedule Caste Morcha Satish Kumar has also filed an FIR against the power board General Manager Subhash Singh under Harijan Act charging him with using filthy abusive  language  against the schedule caste.

As per FIR lodged with Dhanbad police station on June 5, 2017, afternoon, by GM, Subhash Singh, as Dhanbad is facing acute power crisis, BJP MLA Raj Sinha along with hundreds of his supporters forcibly entered his office on the day and after abusing him switched off his AC and even  physically assaulted him.

Later in the evening, an emergency meeting of  electricity workers took place after which an FIR was lodged against Raj Sinha, Satish Kumar and five  other unknown persons demanding immediate arrest of the MLA  giving 72 hours ultimatum to the district administration. Dhanbad SSP  Manoj Ratan Chouthey said that  police were inquiring into this matter.

After  Baghmara BJP MLA Dhullu Mahto, it is now another BJP MLA of Dhanbad  Raj Sinha  who   has landed in trouble. Another BJP MLA  is in jail in a murder case.
