Patna : The arrest figure remains pegged at 7 in the sensational Parsagarh gang rape case under Ekma police station in Saran district. The medical examination report of the survivor is still awaited. SHO, Ekma police station, on July 11 said that investigation is on.

Chairman, State Commission for Women (SCW), Dilmani Mishra who on July 9 had visited Parsagarh to meet the survivor and her father besides visiting the private school where the survivor studies, said on July 11 that the girl was repeatedly gangraped since November 2017 by several school students and the principal Uday Kumar, who is among the 7 accused arrested. Mishra said that she was awaiting the medical examination report.

The survivor is a Class X student of a private school at Parsagarh. She had lodged an FIR with Ekma police station on July 6, 2018, against 18 persons including the school pincipal.
