Patna: Police conducted raid at Bendoul Balu (Sand) ghat near Bihta in Patna district and took under custody around 18 persons in connection with illegal sand mining. Police also seized a licenced rifle, 18 JCB machines and a sand laden Hywa during the raid. Police were quizzing the persons taken under custody.
