Bhabhua : Police arrested a Sub-Inspector (SI) Om Prakash Singh posted at Kudara police station in Kaimur district along with four bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) on August 30, 2019, evening. An FIR was lodged with Mohania police station against him under theProhibition & Excise Act and the SI was sent to jail on August 31 after interrogation..
Kaimur SP Dilnawaz Ahamad on August 31 said that SI Om Prakash Singh had gone to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to arrest a miscreant. On his way back, he purchased the IMFL. At Mohania Check-Post, the SDPO checked and arrested the SI along with four bottles of IMFL. He said that his service revolver and cartridges had also been seized.
