Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raids in Shivganj locality under Town police station, Ara, on March 19, 2018, and arrested two drug peddlers along with Heroin worth about Rs 10 lakh. Police also seized a countrymade pistol, two live cartridges from their possession.
SDPO, Ara, Sanjay Kumar said that police had received information that Heroin was being smuggled near Sapna Chitra Mandir under Town police station. Police immediately swung into action and conducted raid in the area and seized 210 Gram Heroin worth about Rs 10 lakh and arrested two drug peddlers, the SDPO said. The SDPO did not disclose the names of the drug peddlers saying it might affect investigation.
