Patna: A Khusrupur police team in Patna rural on January 28 arrested a person and recovered 800 pouches of countrymade liquor from his possession. Police said that the arrest has been made under Operation Vishwash launched by Patna Police to check supply and sale of liquor.
Khusrupur ps SHO Mritunjay Kumar had received information that a huge consignment of liquor was to reach Khusrupur from Jharkhand. Kumar reached Khusrupur Bazaar locality and arrested one Sanobar Ali there. Altogether 800 pouches were recovered from his possession. Police arrested Ali as he got down from a bus. He is a native of Koderma, Jharkhand.
