Police seize 7,000 bottles of IMFL in Samastipur, 11 held

Samastipur : Police, in a major development, seized about 7,000 bottles of foreign liquor during a raid conducted at village Bhagnwanpur Desua under Ujiarpur police station in Samastipur district on May 17, 2017, and arrested 11 liquor smugglers with six vehicles including a truck and Rs 3 lakh cash. Police sources said the raid was conducted on a tip off. Police seized 2,665 litres of foreign liquor packed in 299 cartons from the truck.
