Purnia : Police on Saturday intercepted two Scorpio with sticker of marriage party pasted on them near Baisi and recovered 262 litres of Indian made foreign liquor. Police also arrested five occupants of the SUV and sent them to jail. Purnia SP Nishant Tiwari said these two SUV with marriage party pasted on them were coming from West Bengal with wine bottles.They had adopted a novel method of wine smuggling, police sources said. Police searched the two SUVs and recovered wine bottles . All the arrested persons belong to Araria district.
