Police seize 22,834 bottles of IMFL, truck & 3 four-wheelers at Rohtas village, 2 held

Sasaram : Plice, on a tip off, conducted raids near Primary School at Padariaya village under Dawath police station in Rohtas district and seized 22,834 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), a truck, three four-wheelers and arrested two persons on December 23, 2019.

Police lodged an FIR with Dawath police station against eight persons including the Driver and Cleaner of the truck. Police are conducting raids to arrest the six liquor smugglers.

SHO, Dawath police station, Shashi Bhushan Prasad said that he got information that some illegal activities were going on near Padariya village after which he along with police force conducted raids and arrested two persons. Police also seized a truck and three four-wheelers. When the vehicles were searched, police seized 22,834 bottles of IMFL loaded on truck and four- wheelers. The arrested persons were identified as Gurdeep Singh, son of Sardar Singh, and Cleaner Manmohan Singh, son of Sant Singh of Sikarpur, Mohali.
