Police arrest 3 liquor smugglers from Buxar village, seize 450 bottles of IMFL

Buxar : Police seized 450 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and arrested three liquor smugglers from village Dhegu Dera under Nawanagar police station in Buxar district on December 23, 2019, though one liquor smuggler escaped from the scene.

SHO, Nawanagar police station, Junaid Alam said that he got information that a big consignment of IMFL was kept in a hut at Dhegu Dera village after which he conducted raids there and seized 450 bottles of IMFL. Police also arrested three liquor smugglers: Rajendra Yadav, Babloo Kumar, and Nitish Kumar while the fourth one Tez Narain escaped from the spot. Police  arrested them when they went there to take the consignment. All the liquor smugglers are residents of village Dhegu Dera. station.
