Buxar : Police seized 17,568 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a brick kiln near village Basantpur under Murar police station in Buxar district on September 15, 2018. Police also seized 9 motorcycles from there.
SDPO, Dumraon, Krishna Kumar Singh said that he got information that IMFL was kept inside a brick kiln near Basantpur village under Murar police station and at once sent a police team there to conduct raids. Police conducted raids in the area and seized 17,568 bottles of IMFL packed in 366 cartons and 9 motorcycles. But, police could not arrest even a single liquor smuggler. The SDPO said that the smugglers had stolen the motorcycles and hid them at the brick kiln.
Police also seized 230 bottles of IMFL near Pandey Patti area under Buxar Muffassil police station while Buxar GRP seized 41 bottles of IMFL from 13202 DN Lokmanya Tilak-Rajendra Nagar Express.
