Ara: Bhojpur police, on  a tip off, conducted raid in an area near zero mile under Nawada police station on Monday evening and arrested two persons with 167 bottles of wine. Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh said that he was informed that liquor in heavy quantity was being carried in a three- wheeler for being sold in the market.

The SP immediately formed a police team under ASP (operations) Md Sajid that raided an area near Zero mile under Nawada police station and seized 167 bottles of wine kept in a bag being carried in a three- wheeler. Police also arrested two persons: Rahul Prasad of Maulabagh locality under Nawada police station and Anil Yadav of Bind Toli locality under Town police station. The SP said that the wine was being brought from village Kasap under Udwantnagar police station in the district.
