Police seize 136 bottles of IMFL at Buxar village, liquor smugglers escaped

Buxar : Police, on a tip off, seized 136 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from near village Belao under Sikraul police station in Buxar district on December 29, 2019, and seized a motorcycle though the liquor smugglers escaped from the scene.

A named FIR has been lodged with Sikraul police station under the Prohibition and Excise Act against Shashi Kumar Singh and Bhuar Ram in this connection and police are conducting raids to arrest the liquor smuggler.

SHO, Sikraul police station, Alok Kumar, said that he got information that some liquor smugglers are smuggling IMFL near Belao village after which police conducted raids there and seized 136 bottles of IMFL and a motorcycle. Seeing police, two liquor smugglers: Shashi Kumar Yadav of Kharwania village and Bhuar Ram of Belao village, escaped from the scene.
