Police seize 1,200 bottles of IMFL from Buxar village

Buxar : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Pandeypur under Sikraul police station in Buxar district on October 28, 2019, and seized 1,200 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) though the liquor smugglers escaped from the place. Police are conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.

SHO, Sikraul police station, said that he got information that Akshay Pandey had stored IMFL in his house at village Pandeypur. The SHO along with police force immediately rushed and conducted raids at Pandeypur and seized 1,200 bottles of IMFL packed in 21 cartons from the house of Akshay Pandey though he escaped from the spot seeing  police.

The SHO said that the IMFL was brought over for sale during Dipawali and other festivals. He said that a named FIR has been lodged by Sikraul police station against Akshayn Pandey in this connection and raids were to arrest him.
