Police seize 1,036 bottles of IMFL in Samastipur

Samastipur: Police seized 1,036 bottles of IMFL from a pick-up van in a raid conducted at village Rahimpur Rudauli under Muffasil police station, Samastipur, on October 8. DSP, Sadar, Smastipur,Mohammad Tanvir Ahmad said that the raid was carried out on a tip off that a big consignment of foreign liquor was reaching village Rahimpur Rudauli. The DSP said that to hide liquor grains were loaded on the van. He said those involved in smuggling of liquor escaped after seeing police. Raids are on to arrest them, he said adding the van had been seized.
