Police recover missing teenage girl from Gas Agency Road, Ara, arrest Boyfriend

Ara : Police recovered a missing teenage girl from Gas Agency Road under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur District and also Boyfriend on December 22, 2019, evening.

Police brought the girl to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her before an Ara  Court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC on December 23, 2019. Police sent her Boyfriend to Ara jail after interrogation.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that the 16 year old girl of Sri Tola locality under the police station had gone to Tapeshwar Singh Indu Mahila College but did not return home. Her family members searched for her everywhere but to located her. Meanwhile, they got information that Golu Yadav of village Tetaria under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur District, with the help of his aides, had kidnapped the girl. Her family members went to Tetaria village but the family members of Golu Yadav misbehaved with them and also threatened the girl’s father with dire consequences.

An FIR was lodged with Nawada police station against three persons including Golu Yadav. After institution of FIR, police swung into action and recovered the girl and arrested Golu Yadav from Gas Agency Road on December 22, 2019, evening.
