Sitamarhi :Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on December 23, 2019, reviewed the on going development works at village Aabidpur under Bajpatti block in Sitamarhi district in North Bihar on the fourth leg of his ‘Jal-Jivan-Hariyali Yatra’ . He planted a sapling at the Panchayat Bhawan and saw rain water harvesting processing unit and solar energy system. He also asked the villagers to take benefit of ‘Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal Yojana’ ( tap water at every home).
Nitish suggested all elected representatives to make the proposed Human Chain to create awareness about ‘Jal-Jivan- Hariyali’ programme on January 19, 2020, a grand success. The Chief Minister visited the class-rooms at Aabidpur primary school and inquired about the problems facing the school. He interacted with students.
Later on, Nitish visited village Vangaon and paid respect to God Boghayan at the temple and inaugurated the renovation works of pond and premises. The Tourism Department has renovated the temple premises at a cost of Rs 3.16 crore. The temple was constructed in 1948 in the presence of Devraha Baba and later on renovated in 1958. The CM said now the Boghayan temple is on Bihar’s tourist map.
Sitamarhi DM Abhilasha Kumari Sharma welcomed the CMÂ him and outlined the history of Boghayan temple.
