Police recover missing girl near Ara railway station

Ara : Police on July 19, 2019, recovered a missing girl from near Ara railway station under Nawada police station area in Bhojpur district.  She was allegedly kidnapped from village Sabalpur under Barhara police station in the district.

SHO, Nawada police station, Ara, said that the girl revealed that she was not kidnapped but had left home with her boyfriend from the same village on her own and tied knot with him as she was mature. She said that her father had lodged a false FIR with police in this connection.

SHO, Barhara police station, Prashant Kumar, quoting the FIR lodged by her father Shyamanand Paswan, said that the girl had gone to the field to attend the call of nature on May 26, 2019, was missing ever since. It was alleged that someone had kidnapped her with a view to killing her.

Shyamanand Paswan had lodged a named FIR against three persons including Shishu Sah, son of Manoj Sah, and his uncle Dudhnath Sah.  After institution of FIR, police swung into action and conducted raids at different places to recover the girl and arrest the miscreant. Meanwhile, Nawada police recovered the girl from near Ara railway station though her lover is absconding.

The girl was brought over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will be produced before the court on July 20, 20-19, to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC.
