Police recover missing Bhojpur girl from Buxar village

Ara : Bhojpur police with the help their Buxar counterpart recovered a girl from village Nimez under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district along with her lover Manoj Kumar on February 13. Police brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and later produced before an Ara court for getting her statement registered under section 164 CrPC on February 14.
A teenage girl of Thengawa village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district eloped with her lover Manoj Kumar of Nimez village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district about four month ago. Her family members searched for her and when they failed in their effort, her father lodged an FIR with Charpokhari police station alleging kidnapping of his daughtert almost three months after her elopment. Bhojpur police got information that the girl was living in Nimez village in Buxar district.
The girl told police that she was not kidnapped but eloped with Manoj Kumar of Nimez village and also tied a nuptial knot with him at a temple. She also said that she wanted to live with Manoj Kumar.
