Police recover kidnapped girl from Jagdishpur after 1 month

Ara : Bhojpur police recovered a kidnapped teenage girl near Jagdishpur after one month and produced her before Ara Civil Court on April 25, 2018, to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC. Police also brought her over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination.

SHO, Jagdishpur Police Station, said that a teenage girl was kidnapped from Kasab locality under Jagdishpur police station on March 27, 2018, when she had gone to the field to attend call of nature. A named FIR was lodged with Jagdishpur police station against four persons including three brothers Krishna Mahto, Hareram Mahto and Sanjay Mahto, sons of Surendra Mahto of the same village. The SHO said that police are conducting raids to arrest the kidnappers.
