Police recommend shifting of two inmates of Muzaffarpur jail for their Facebook posts

Muzaffarpur: Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar has decided to shift two inmates of Muzaffarpur Central Jail to other jail for their alleged Facebook posts aimed at provoking other prisoners and creating disturbance in the jail. SSP Vivek Kumar has sent a recommendation to  DM, Muzaffarpur, requesting him to shift two inmates of Muzaffarpur central jail: Nirbhay Kumar and Rambabu Rai, to other jail.

The SSP has informed the DM that these two prisoners were provoking other inmates of the jail  through their Facebook posts from inside jail. The SSP has maintained that Nirbhay Singh, a notorious criminal, had broken the head of an inmate in the jail and an FIR was lodged against him with Mithanpura police station, Muzaffarpur. The district administration has enhanced security in and outside the jail.
