Police raid arrested Manisha Dayal’s flat, seize incriminating papers

Patna : Police on August 14, 2018, conducted raid at the Boring Canal Road residence cum office of arrested Manisha Dayal, Treasurer of Anumaya Human Resources, an NGO running Aasra Visheh Grih, a shortstay home for mentally challenged women at Nepali Nagar under Rajiv Nagar Police station, Patna. Police seized several files, computer, cheque-book, and other papers from her Flat No 101 at SMS Villa, police said.

Meawhile, police are interrogating Secretary, Anumaya Human Resourcesion, Chirantan Kumar and Treasurer Manisha Dayal. A Patna court had on August 13 granted Rajiv Nagar police station 3 day police remand of Chirantan Kumar and Manisha Dayal for their custodial interrogation in connection with mysterious death of 2 inmates of the Aasra Home run by the NGO. They were arrested on August 13 early morning for neglecting the medicare of two inmates: Poonam Bharti, 18, and Babli alias Notpa, 40, which resulted in their death on August 10, 2018, night.
