Police prevent violence at Buxar village, 4 arrested with 4 rifles

Buxar : Police arrested four persons belonging to rival groups including Priyabrat Dubey, father of  notorious criminal Babali alias Pradeep Dubey, on Octobr 23, 2017, and also seized four regular rifles, live cartridges and hockey sticks from their possession. Police arrested them when they had gone to village Kathkauli  under Industrial police station in Buxar district to capture a piece of land.

SHO, Industrial police station, Buxar, said that two families of a particular caste had sold out a piece of land to a third party on which two groups led by Nathuni Pandey and Priyabrat Dubey claimed as their own. On October 23 morning, both Nathuni and Priyabrat along with their associates armed with lethal weapons reached the spot but the police reached there on time and arrested four persons of rival groups including Nathuni Pandey and Priyabrat Dubey and also seized four regular rifiles, live rounds and hockey sticks from their possession.
