Bagaha : Bagaha police on September 8, 2017, lodged a case against over 60 flood victims of Patilar panchayat while a Ward Member of the panchayat Subash Yadav and seven other were made named accused in the case for reaching Bagaha-1 Block Headquarters on the day and preventing Block and Anchal staff from performing their duty.
Circle Officer (CO) Rajkishor Sah lodged a case with Bagaha police station on the direction of SDM, Bagaha, Dharmendar Kumar on September 8 afternoon. Sources said that hundreds of flood victims from Patilar, Bhairoganj and Sisawa -Basantpur panchayats of the block in West Champaran district assembled at the Block Headquarters and went on rampage protesting irregularities in the preparation of list of flood victims. BDO Shashibhusan Kumar Suman and CO Rajkishor Sah had to leave the office and the staff ran away locking the door of the office.
