Patna : Police on June 22, 2018, detained a jeweller Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, one of his staff and driver with Rs 35 lakh cash during a vehicle checking drive under Danapur police station in Patna district. Police detained them in Takiyapar locality, Danapur.
SHO, Danapur, said that the Income- tax department during its day long inquiry found no cash related documents certifying the transaction by the jeweller. The jeweller was carrying the cash in his four-wheeler. Police stopped the car at Takiyapar during a vehicle checking drive, the SHO said.
