Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raids in Jawahar Tola locality under Town police station, Ara, and arrested two love birds on December 18, 2017, evening, and produced them before the court on December to get their statement recorded under section 164 CrPC.
A Class X student Shubham Kumar, son of a school teacher, had escaped with a girl of Jawahar Tola locality under Town police station about a week ago and had tied nupital knot with her girl at a temple and also registered their marriage in the court. After their arrest, they showed their court certificate and photographs of their marriage to police and expressed their determination to live together.
Police said that the father of the boy had filed a named FIR against Nagendra Paswan, father of the girl and his relatives,alleging they had kidnapped his son Shubham Kumar as he had refused to marry him with his daughter.
