Police arrest notorious criminal Saheb Paswan from Bhojpur village

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at Dhus Musahar Toli under Bihia police station in Bhojpur District on July 20, 2019, late evening, and arrested a notorious criminal Saheb Paswan while hatching plan to commit crime though his aides escaped from the spot.

Saheb Paswan is a resident of village Gyanpur under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district. Police recovered a countrymade pistol, four live cartridges, and two motorcycles without registration number from his possession.

SHO, Bihia police station, S Akhtar Ansari, said that he got information that some miscreants were hatching plan at Dhus Musahar Toli to commit crime. He along with police force immediately conducted raid and arrested Saheb Paswan though five of his associates escaped on two motorcycles. He said that police are conducting raids at different places to arrest them.

The SHO said that dozens of criminal cases were pending with different police stations in Bhojput district against Saheb Paswan. Police sent him to jail after interrogation.
