Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raid at village Salempur under Ara Muffasil (PS) police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar, and arrested a man with 400 grams of Heroin on February 20. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Pappu Prasad of Salempur village.
The SHO, Ara Muffasil PS, said that he got information that some drug peddlers were sharing Heroin among themselves at village after which he with police team conducted raid at the village and arrested Pappu Prasad and also seized 400 gram of Heroin, electronic weighing machine, and a steel spoon from his possession though his five aides escaped from the place. Police are conducting raids to arrest the rest of the drug peddler. A named FIR was lodged by police against the arrested drug peddler and he was sent him to jail after interrogation.
