Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Sonbarsha under Karnamepur police outpost in Bhojpur district on December 29, 2020, night, and arrested Raj Kishore Pal in connection with murder of an eyewitness in the murder of the then State Vice President, BJP, Bisheshwar Ojha. Police also seized a countrymade pistol and two live cartridges from his possession. He is said to be the right hand Kishun Mishra, a named accused in the murder of Bisheshwar Ojha.
Bhojpur SP Har Kishore Rai said that police got information that Kishun Mishra, one of the named accused in the murder of Bisheshwar Ojha and also in the murder of Kamal Kishore Mishra, eyewitness in the murder of Ojha. had come to Sonbarsha village. Kishun Mishra carries a reward on his head, the SP added.
On getting information, police force conducted raids at Sonbarsha on December 29, 2020, night, and arrested Raj Kishore Pal, also a named accused in the murder of Kamal Kumar Mishra, but Kishun Mishra succeeded in giving a slip to police and escaped.
On the other hand, Kalawati Devi, mother of Raj Kishore Pal, claimed that her son was innocent but was implicated in a false case.
