Sitamarhi : Kanhauli police in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar, on a tip off, on July 11, 2021, arrested five liquor smugglers along with 1,440 bottles of Nepali liquor laden on an auto rickshaw in fourteen cartons.
The arrested liquor smugglers were coming from Nepal. They were identified as Uday Panjiyar, Pappu Kumar, Subodha Kumar, Rajan Kumar, and Dipak Kumar, all residents of village Phulkaha in Sitamarhi District. During interrogation, they accepted their involvements in past several sorties. According to sources,police are searching for their other accomplices.
