Police arrest 4 liquor smugglers in Bagaha

Bagaha: Police arrested four liquor smugglers and seized 24 bottles of Nepali liquor of 300 ml each besides 3 litres of country liquor from different places under Naurangia police station in Bagaha police district on May 15, 2018, evening.

SHO, Naurangia police station, Harendra Prasad, said that Hanif Ansari and Hari Mushahar were arrested with 3 litres of country liquor from village Madanpur. Udaybhan Kumar of village Sohagibarawa (UP) and Ramchandra Ram of village Jarar under Laukaria police station in Bagaha police district were arrested from Naurangia- Basahi road along with 24 bottles Nepali liquor being carried on two bycicles, the SHO said. All the four arrested persons were sent to Bettiah district jail on May 16, 2018, the SHO said.
