Bettiah : Police arrested four arms suppliers with four firearms from different places in West Champaran district on January 10, 2019.
West Champaran SP Jayant Kant, on a tip off, constituted a police team headed by ASP (Operations) Sheo Kumar Rao and SDPO, Bettiah, Pankaj Rawat, that carried out raids at different places under Bettiah Sub-Division and arrested Sahil Kishore from Hanumant Nagar locality and Kundan Kumar from Kishunbag locality. Police, after interrogating the, arrested two other criminals : Prince Kumar from Balua Rampura and Salaman Alam from Pathakauli -Malakauli under Bairiaya police station with three countrymade guns and a pistol. The arrested persons confessed before police that the firearms were stored for supplying the same to the criminals.
