Police arrest 3 gamblers at Ara

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids in Chhathia Canal area under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur, on February 20, 2019, and arrested three gamblers along with coupons and cash. Police also demolished the hut from where gamblers operated. Later, police forwarded them to jail after lodging a named FIR against them.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that he got information that gambling was going on in a hut in Chhathia Canal area under the police station. He immediately formed a police team and conducted raid there and arrested three gamblers from the spot.
