Ara : Police arrested two miscreants said to be close aides of Manish Singh alias Neeraj Singh alias Golu alias Hero with firearms in connection with recent firing and murder of an accountant of Raj Automobiles Tractor Agency, a Mahindra Showroom, on Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on September 21, 2018, night.
Police, on a tip off, arrested Munna Thakur from Krishna Nagar under Nawada police station, Ara, and on his revelation, conducted raid at village Majhaua under Ara Town police station and arrested Chandan Singh. Police also seized a countrymade pistol, two magazines, two mobiles and a Pulasar motorcycle from their possession. Police said that Chandan Singh was driving the Pulsar motorcycle and Manish Singh was pillion rider during firing and murder at the Showroom on September 20, 2018.
During interrogation, Chandan Singh, a resident of Paiga, said that Hero and he had been in Ara jail together in the same case and Hero frequently visited Sheetal Tola locality under Ara town police station.
