Ara : Police, on a tip off, arrested two criminals near Pandura village under Sandesh police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on December 31, 2020, evening. Police also recovered a countrymade pistol of 12 calibre, one live cartridge, two mobile phones, and a motorcycle from their possession. Later, police sent them to jail after interrogation.
SHO, Sandesh PS, said that police got information that some armed miscreants had assembled at the roundabout near Pandura village under the police station with a view to committing crime. Police at once swung into action and conducted raid and arrested two miscreants with a countrymade pistol of 12 calibre, one live cartridge, two mobile phones, and an Apache motorcycle from their possession.
The arrested miscreants were identified as Ritik Yadav of Rampur village under Chandi PS and Brajesh Kumar of Salempur village under Chandi PS. Ritik Yadav was wanted in connection with shooting and injuring Khalifa Yadav at Akhgaon Bazaar, one CRPF personnel at Akhgaon, a truck driver at Akhgaon bypass on December 24, 2020, and was also involved in liquor smuggling. Named FIRs had been lodged against him with Sandesh police station. Brajesh Kumar was wanted in shooting and injuring a truck driver at Akhgaon bypass on December 24, 2020, and snatching of gold chain from the wife of a CRPF personnel near Jalpura Brahmsthan under Chandi PS on September 3, 2020. Named FIRs had been lodged against him with Chandi PS. Police sent them to jail after interrogation.
