New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 25, 2018, condoled the demise of former Union Minister C K Jaffer Sharief, 85.

“Saddened by the demise of Shri C K Jaffer Sharief Ji. As a veteran Parliamentarian, he enriched parliamentary proceedings. He was an effective voice for Karnataka’s aspirations in Delhi. Condolences to his family and supporters,” the Prime Minister said, according to a PIB release.

Veteran Congress leader C K Jaffer Sharief passed away at a private hospital at Bengaluru, Karnataka, on November 25, 2018, morning,  following cardiac arrest. He is survived by two daughters.
