New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 14, 2021, expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Kurnool District in Andhra Pradesh.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “The road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district is saddening. In this hour of sadness, my thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones. I hope that the injured recover at the earliest.”

It may be mentioned here that 14 persons died and 4 others were injured in a Tempo Traveller Van-Truck collision on Hyderabad – Bengaluru NH 44 in Kurnool District in Andhra Pradesh in the early hours on February 14, 2021.The tempo traveller van carrying 18 passengers dashed a road divider, jumped off the divider, and collided with a truck coming from opposite direction on the other side of the road. The van was crushed under the wheels of the truck and was dragged for several metres. Fourteen persons died on the spot.
