Bokaro/ Barhi (Jharkhand) : Branding both  Congress and JMM as corrupt, incompetent, unreliable,  and visionless and  whose leaders’ only motive is to grab power through  undemocratic and illegal ways to carry their corrupt practices, PM Narendra Modi on December 9, 2019, urged the people of Jharkhand to give a massive mandate to the BJP for stability and development of the state.

Addressing impressive gathering at Bokaro and Barhi (Hazaribagh) to mobilise support for the party nominees contesting the Jharkhand Assembly polls in 3rd phase scheduled for  December 12, 2019, PM Modi drew their attention to the big mandate given to the BJP in the by-polls to 15 seats in Karnataka on December 9, 2019, for a stable government. The BJP has won 12 out of 15 seats in the by-polls. The BJP Government headed by B S Yediyurappa needed six seats to continue in power. At both the places Modi directly interacted with the enthusiastic crowd.

Buoyed over the presence of huge cheering crowd at both at Barhi and Bokaro, Modi, after getting information that the BJP has won 12 out of 15 assembly seats in Karnataka, minced no words in describing Congress as a highly corrupt party which was given shock treatment by the voters in Karnataka. Modi charged Congress with delaying the resolution of Ayodhya disputes and construction of Ram Temple for decades.

The BJP Government ensured resolution of the Ayodhya dispute during its regime, PM Modi said and added that the BJP Government has also accorded constitutional status to OBC Commission besides providing for 10 percent reservation to poor among upper castes. He also reminded the crowd that it was the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government which had created the State of Jharkhand.

Modi said that the huge gathering at all his meetings indicates which way the wind is blowing. He said the BJP Government in Jharkhand had given Land Parchas to 60,000 people in last five years. Before the BJP came to power in Jharkhand, Land Parchas was given to only around 9,000 people in previous nine years.

At Barhi, the PM  said that today rail connectivity can be witnessed from Koderma to Hazaribagh to Barkakana till Ranchi which only BJP can do as Congress party does not have vision for development. He stated that Jharkhand is 19 years old now and so it should have double engine that is the same party government at state and centre. He also paid tributes to Babu Ram Narayan Singh of Hazaribagh who worked tirelessly with Shyama Prasad Mookherjee to bring J&K under Indian Constitution. Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das was also present at Barhi where Modi mobilised support for party nominee Manoj Yadav, who in October left Congress to join BJP.
At Bokaro, the Prime minister asked people to vote for 7 candidates who were present at the dais namely Viranchi Narain from Bokaro, Nirbhaya Sahabadi from Giridih, Pradip Sahu from Dumri, Ranjay Kumar from Ramgarh, Yogeshwar Batul from Bermo, and Laxman Naik from Gomia.
